Get ready to get emotional, little Hellions, for a great calamity has come to pass! The fearsome former foursome you know and love has been split in half. That's right, the Midnite machine is amicably parting ways with the powerhouse frontline duo of Scott and Mario. Scott & Mario have elected to revive their own band, Citizen System (http://myspace.com/citizensystem), and are cranking out some tasty new tunes as we speak. The Hellion is immensely grateful for the time, dedication, and sonic excellence the two contributed to our legacy, and we look forward to the two sister bands rocking together in the near future.
This said, the mighty knights of Midnite are now bereft of a guitar slinger. If you have the chops and the attitude and think yourself worthy of a shot at glory, shoot us a message at [email protected] and step up to the plate!

Wow, it’s been a LONG time since we’ve updated you all on everything going on! First off, album news: KICKSTARTER was successfully funded, huge thanks to everyone who pledged and spread the word! We’re tweaking and retweaking all of the 17 brand-new songs to choose from, which we will narrow down to 10 to 12 for the final cut. Release date is TBD on Witches Brew, and the special editions of the album will be unveiled soon!

As we are putting the primary focus on the album, live shows have been put on the backburner for the first quarter of the year. What an awesome night we had on Friday night supporting RAVEN, OCTOBER 31, NIGHT DEMON, & S.A. ADAMS at our return to Brooklyn! Thanks to everyone who came out and battled the traffic from hell and also HUGE thanks to those who stuck around for Raven after they had dealt with major vehicle issues causing a major delay in their performance. We have one more show for the year and then it’ll be time to be locked in the studio!!
We’ve officially launched our Kickstarter campaign to help raise money for production costs, and the campaign is also acting as a presale for the CD. So far, we’re up to 58% in 15 days, but we still have a long way to go. It ends on Christmas morning, so please help us have a happy holiday and also help yourselves to TONS of exclusive MIDNITE HELLION memorabilia! First and foremost, thank you so much to everyone who supported us opening for OverKill, Prong, and Municipal Waste! Those in attendance witnessed a killer crowd and show all-around! Next up, we will be supporting the mighty ONSLAUGHT, ARTILLERY, and VX36 at Champs in Trenton on Sunday, November 2nd. There is a very special treat for this tour, as the legendary Neil Turbin of ANTHRAX will be fronting ONSLAUGHT! Now, two of ANTHRAX’s singers will have performed at Champs (first being Joey Belladonna in ’08), so make sure to come and witness a historical night! Help get Neil reacquainted with Trenton, as he most likely hasn’t even been there since performing at City Gardens way back when. While weeknight shows can prove to be difficult to attend, fret not as there is an 11:00 PM curfew, so you’ll be able to come out for a fun night and still get a decent night’s sleep before Monday’s daily grind! We are very pleased to announce the return of lead singer Scott Alpert and the addition of bassist Roy Romano. Alpert had previously been with us in 2012, featured on our “Enter The Unknown” EP and toured with us during our Enter The Evilution Tour 2012 alongside New York’s legendary PRIME EVIL. Having Scott back with us is a true pleasure, and we’re all very excited to have Roy join the fold. With the lineup now complete and stronger than ever, we are ready to head back into battle!
Previous singer Brandon Peterson was unable to continue with us as he is expecting his first child, so needless to say, his commitments remain with starting a family. We wish him and his new family all the best.

As always, there is a lot going on behind the scenes, and today, we are pleased to announce our new lineup! Singer Brandon Peterson, lead guitarist Gill Barnette, and the return of lead guitarist Mario DiBartolo, will be joining founder and drummer Drew Rizzo on a mission of Metal.
We’re still on the hunt for a permanent bassist. In the meantime, Pat Henry from SWASHBUCKLE will be handling the bottom end. Gill also will be making his live debut later in the summer once he recovers from his recent hand surgery.
The previous lineup, which included singer PJ Berlinghof, guitarists Dan Sclavi and Nick DiGiovacchino, and bassist Bill Dripps, has recently parted ways. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors and greatly thank them for their time and dedication during their tenure with the band.
Due to the change in personnel, we will unfortunately be unable to perform this Saturday, June 7th at Roger’s Sports Pub in Chesapeake, VA, nor will we be able to perform at 10th Street Live next Friday, June 13th. We apologize to everybody involved in the shows and thank them for their understanding, and also apologize to everyone who planned to see us. We will do our best to make up the dates as soon as possible, and encourage everybody to still attend as both shows are going to be incredible!
The new lineup will be making out live debut on Friday, July 11th at The Backstage at Champs in Trenton, NJ, supporting October 31, Rattlehead, and Solace of Requiem. We will be heading back into the studio over the summer to finish recording our first full-length which is due to be released this year on Witches Brew.

First, and foremost, thank you to all who have attended and supported our numerous shows over the past month! Also, welcome and thank you to all of our new friends that we have met at the shows, too! Have about 50 new mailing list members, so welcome aboard!!
We have had a lot going on, as you all know. Both of our March Jersey shows supporting Anger As Art and taking part in the March Of The Metalheads went over extremely well, and they were a blast! Our trip to Chicago as part of the Ragnarökkr Metal Apocalypse was a dream come true on many levels, and the reception we received we cannot thank you all enough for. It’s great to know that we have found a new home away from home in the windy city. Personally, seeing Grim Reaper for the first time was an incredible experience, one that I will never forget. The icing on the cake came this past weekend at our Brooklyn show supporting Toxik, which was a sold out performance - definitely recommend seeing them if they come to town, as they deliver!! Thank you to all of the promoters for having us!
Speaking of Chicago, we have very few festival shirts remaining, if anyone wishes to pick one up. Only 7 total units left in medium, large, and XL, and they’re only $20.00 each. Tracking has begun last week for our debut full-length album! Drums are 100% done and guitars start tomorrow. Progress towards goal is well underway – will keep you all posted!

Happy New Year, Hellions!! A lot is going on behind the scenes, but we have a few cool tidbits to announce. First of all, we will be returning to the City of Brotherly Love on Saturday, January 18th, our first visit since our tour with Prime Evil in 2012! This show will be at The Fire on Girard Avenue along with Tungsten, Power Theory, and In The Presence Of Wolves. Come hang out and have a good time!
