Midnite Hellion - Cancels US Tour, Pulsifier to Step In
Published March 28th, 2025 It is with great regret and sadness that we announce our first career cancellation. Midnite Hellion has made the difficult decision to withdraw from our upcoming tour with Anvil and Don Jamieson. We apologize for any disappointment this cancellation may cause and appreciate your understanding. We will return to performing better than ever when the time is right. Thank you to everyone for your understanding and for the ongoing support. A heartfelt thank you to our friends in Anvil, Don Jamieson, and their teams for their understanding and their complete support during this difficult time. The three-pronged metal monster package will be trekking through the eastern half of the US in April and May of '25. "We love touring, and we love touring with our friends. Published March 14th, 2024 Ever asked yourself what it would sound like if British legend Witchfinder General got lost high on shrooms within the wonderfully weird New Jersey thrash metal scene? Don’t worry, you’re not alone: US-thrashers MIDNITE HELLION somehow seemed to have woken up to just the same question some day. And while psilos aren’t on their diet, NWOBHM – from Blitzkrieg fast to slow and heavy – certainly is! One possible answer to your question could certainly be Army Of The Dead from the band’s upcoming (outside US) album Kingdom Immortal. "Inspired by Game of Thrones, we have included our own song of ice and fire on Kingdom Immortal. We welcome you on our musical journey through three movements as the elements thrash, crash, and bash. Prepare for the Army Of The Dead. See you on the other side..." At the sinister end of an intro that presents itself as slow and cozy as a good old doom metal funeral march but with a battery of war drums joining, a single bell strike rings it in: the massive wall of mid-tempo mosh carrying the infectiously grippy chorus that’s of such paramount importance for any metal anthem to work. And as it began, it shall end – more slow cooking groove, more melodies in a creamy guitar solo, heck even more death bells tolling the end of the show unless the replay button is being watched out for and pressed. In which case it’s straight back to business with heavy-as-fuck thrash and that certain rock’n’roll attitude paired with the intriguing playfulness that so many of us find and love in NWOBHM. And a love letter it truly is, an homage that comes flying across the great pond: Upon release to the US market in 2022, their album Kingdom Immortal immediately entered the Metal Contraband and NACC Radio charts. And soon – on April 12, 2024 – the crazy time traveling riff machine will also become available for European fans of classic neck shredding. MIDNITE HELLION entering Europe for the first time with Kingdom Immortal and their new video single H.M.O Chiming in with their thrash-luster take on NWOBHM, New Jersey power trio MIDNITE HELLION are dead set on conquering Europe with speed, charm and just good old fun. Their blend of heavy and thrash metal is always on point, even when they put sick 70’s blues notes up to battling killer riffs from the heart of the 80’s. Now – with several EPs, singles, and a killer debut album behind their belts and after thrashing the stages ever since 2011, topping it all off with accompanying Anvil on their massive US tour in 2022 and 2023 – the band deemed the time right to unleash their latest album Kingdom Immortal on the European crowd. Making it available on CD, MC and LP for the first time outside the US, the three hellions would have celebrated their endeavor supporting U.D.O. on their 2023 continental tour, which unfortunately had to be postponed. Midnite Hellion & U.D.O. North American 2023 Tour - POSTPONED
Published October 30th, 2023 Unfortunately, all 2023 Midnite Hellion tour dates with U.D.O. have been postponed to 2024. "We are very sorry to release this update regarding our upcoming tour with U.D.O. Thank you for your support, and we will announce the rescheduled dates as soon as they are available." Official statement from U.D.O.: "It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce that the upcoming U.D.O. Tour of the US & Canada has had to be pushed back to 2024. This decision is due to an insurmountable combination of logistical, cargo, and rental equipment problems which make it impossible for U.D.O. to perform the shows as scheduled. We are currently working on a new set of dates for 2024 and we will announce the new schedule as soon as possible. All tickets will remain valid for the respective rescheduled shows."
